Hole 1 Par 5, 560 yards

The meandering opening hole has OB on the left where the driving range is and two bunkers on the right calling for a fairway splitting tee-shot. The second shot has to contend with the bottle neck just before the green. The huge elevated green, which is two-tiered with bunkers all around, is easy to hit but local knowledge is necessary for good putts.

Hole 2 Par 4, 383 yards

A slight dogleg left hole has a long beach on the left while four bunkers in the shape of footprints is lined up with another that resembles a boomerang on the right. The elevated green needs an accurate shot as bunkers in front and back awaits to swallow the shots.

Hole 3 Par 4, 417 yards

Colourful flowering plants line close to the OB markers on the left while undulating terrain and trees hover on the right. A fairly huge landing area with bunkers in strategic places. A middle to low iron shot to the flat green can set up a birdie opportunity.

Hole 4 Par 3, 189 yards

Right club selection and a straight shot is imperative to keep away from the left OB and the jungle that looms on the right. Bunkers in front and back of the green and thick undergrowth after green can cause problems while the back to front slope of the green needs careful study before the ball is stroked.

Hole 5 Par 5, 517 yards
cliclick for large image
An intimidating hole with a ravine to cross and an uphill layout. A small tree in the centre of the fairway beckons the tee-shot while a huge bunker right smack in the middle of fairway awaits to swallow even the straight shots. A lofted shot is necessary for the ball to be close to the pin.

Hole 6 Par  3, 182 yards

Relatively easy Par 3 with bunkers before and after the green. High shot that bites can ensure ball finds the pin for a par or better score on a relatively flat green.

Hole 7 Par 4, 476 yards

A difficult hole with water and sand encroaching into the fairway from the right while OB and tall trees dominate the right. A fairly long hole which requires a fairway wood or a long iron shot to the green which has to skirt the bunkers sprinkled around. The undulating green adds to the difficulty.

Hole 8 Par 4, 396 yards

The slight dog leg has trees squeezing the fairway at the landing area. While the approach shot heads downhill, the green slopes upward from the fringe. Extra caution needed in reading the putting line.

Hole 9 Par 4, 432 yards

The most picturesque hole on the course carries an index one tag. Water and beach on the right has to be avoided while the fence on the left marks OB. A fairly large landing area but the position of the ball would dictate the approach shot. The uphill shot can be distracting with the two tiered pond and water gushing down stone slab steps. The contoured green is on a plateau and is important to be close to the pin for a low score.

Hole 10 Par 4, 407 yards

The dogleg left hole has a wide fairway with a huge bunker and trees on the left to pose problems for the approach shot. Preferably the tee shot should head right from where a middle or short iron shot to a green guarded by bunkers.  Tricky putting surface needs close scrutiny.

Hole 11 Par 3, 202 yards

A scenic hole with mountain ranges and trees on the horizon. Bunkers all around calls for a high and accurate shot that bites. The sloping green needs careful study of the breaks.

Hole 12 Par 4, 455 yards
click for large image
The dogleg left hole has a pond encroaching from the left. Big hitters may be tempted to cross it for a pitch to the green while others should contend with keeping the ball to the right. The approach shot has to deal with water close to the green on the left and the bunker on the right.

Hole 13 Par 5, 602 yards

The longest hole on the course is also the second most difficult hole with a narrow landing area squeezed by OB on the right and a ravine on the left. Safe play with a fairway wood or long iron is advisable. The second shot should head left since the sandy beach meets the water on the right and the fairway seems to snake around the lake. A short iron to a sloping green and the putting line needs close study.

Hole 14 Par  3, 191 yards

The lake on the right may be intimidating for high handicappers but the left has trees and bunkers to pose problems and with the layout sloping towards the water, a good shot to the green is imperative for a good score on this hole which has a good ambience.

Hole 15 Par 4, 375 yards

A wide fairway is bound to get the players to take out the driver but wayward shots can head for the water on the far right and trees on the left. The elevated green is surrounded by bunkers and close scrutiny of pin position is important before landing the ball.

Hole 16 Par 5, 553 yards
click for large image
The tee shot has to cross water and the uphill fairway narrows with trees on the right and a big bunker on the left. The hole is a bunkers galore with sand traps all along the fairway and around the green. Lofted shot to the green is necessary to be close to the pin.

Hole 17 Par 4, 405 yards
click for large image
Tall trees and their branches encroach into the narrow fairway. The downhill approach shot has to contend with the sloping green and the bunkers around it. Putting line has to be carefully studied before the ball is stroked.

Hole 18 Par 4, 406 yards
click for large image
A scenic closing hole with shimmering water on the left adding to its beauty and difficulty. Bunkers at the landing area on the right calls for a fairway splitting tee shot. A deep bunker on the left of the green has to be avoided since getting in there would need a high shot to get to the green. Contoured greens makes putting exciting.
