Hill Golf Club celebrated its 15th anniversary on Sunday 27th July 2008 at its premises. The Guest of Honour for the event was the Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Horie Masahiko and his wife. There was a turnout of about 450 people inclusive of the Club’s Directors, invited guests, members, their families and 60 children from 2 welfare homes nearby.
The highlights of the day were a golf tournament, children games, cake cutting ceremony, display of vintage cars, donation drive/auction for welfare homes and lunch.
It was a grand celebration that the club had ever witnessed and it captivated the hearts of those present. Everyone had a gala time and are eagerly looking forward to the next one. They also donated generously and participated in the auction drive for the benefit of the 2 welfare homes with a total collection of RM15,000.00 and 2 washing machines.
The Club was officially opened by His Royal Highness, The Yang Di Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan on 23rd May 1993. Over the 15 years, the club has had the privilege and honour to be the host to Royalties, Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Foreign Dignitaries and Guests with Social Standings.
